I cannot believe i've decided to resit my AS level art ( i only got a c :'(( ) but it has to be done! My work was soo disorganised and made no sense! I'm trying to make more of a project out of it now- and trying to get it all done by 9th January! Recently, i've been exploring ink and soaked sheets of paper to see the effect that that can have on my paintings, but i've become absorbed into portraiture all over again! my whole a-level is about it! I've decided that my favourite works i'm going to upload, and probably some of my studio space as it changes over time :)

I find taking a self portrait a very hard thing to do. I think it takes guts to really show yourself for who you are to other people, and i don't see photography or a video or an image as a weak way of showing other people what you are actually like. Most people see me as a quiet, reserved, funny but also highly moral and loyal person, and some of these i agree with but others i dont. This for me is because i know that it's an act, i ignore people or walk quietly by myself so that i don't have to join in with all the loudness of their daily lives cos i really can't be bothered with the facade that these people all put on. I have been very busy! I've just got a new horse to look after- Called Connie, She is a connemara X thoroughbred and is absolutely gorgeous!! Ridden her 3 times in the past week and she has been as good as gold! I recently bought some watercolour paper and paints, so im going to practice my painting skills so i can do some watercolours of stuff for DA.
